what is ZHOP?
Worshiping Jesus continuously through music and arts with prayer
ZHOP empowers worship leaders, singers, musicians, intercessors, and artisans in ministry to the Lord. Our focus is first an upward calling ministering to God. We want to see righteousness released in cities throughout the earth and build expectancy for Christ to come.
Zadok?
The name Zadok means righteousness and is cited in scripture as the line of priests that continued to minister to God even when Israel had fallen away (Ezek. 44). ZHOP is a place where we empower people in their identity as messengers (Matthew 11:10) and train them to minister to Jesus in worship, prayer and prophecy (Revelation 19:10).
Day and Night Prayer
There are numerous expressions of day and night prayer in scripture. We see "houses of prayer" (Isa. 56:7) as the context for day and night prayer and worship as well as the means by which God's name will be made "great among the nations" (Mal. 1:11). At ZHOP, it is our desire to align ourselves with heaven viewing the Lord as worthy of incessant praise, just as the creatures and the elders do day and night around His throne (Rev. 4:8). Finally, we find that God is just and true; He answers the prayers of those who cry out to Him day and night (Luke 18).
Our 4 Prayer Targets:
1. Open Heavens - ZHOP prays day and night that God's Presence would come down and dwell in our midst (John 1:50-51).
2. The Charlotte Metro Area - Residing in the Charlotte area, ZHOP prays for the transformation of our city to Jesus. We pray Scripture found in the New Testament for the Charlotte metro area. A few examples are: Eph. 1:17-19, Rom 15:5-7, and 2 Thess 3:1-5 3. Salvation for the Nations of the Earth, Including Israel - We are mandated as a house of prayer to cry out for the nations of this world and to pray that all of Israel would come to know Jesus (Rom. 10:1). 4. Culture of Life - Jesus spoke about choosing a culture of life (John 10:10). At ZHOP, we pray that life would hold the same value in our eyes as it does in Christ's.
